Computer will no longer allow me to upload pictures.... why? I dont know, works fine everywhere else.

Any Ideas Graham?

some forums have upload quotas, it could be that you've reached yours. I'm also an admin of another boating forum and when this happens to a user a just upgrade their quota. if this is not possible on this forum, maybe you can use a third party photo hosting website, like picasa, imageshack, or photobucket.

See if you can upload now. You may have hit the upload limit I set a couple of years ago. I increased the limit from 75MB to 150MB, and the individual post upload limit from 5MB to 8MB.

Transom nearly complete. Lots of filleting and sanding before glass though. The outboard well is going to be a live bait tank. Have to glass in a sloping top on it and cut in an acrylic hatch (apparently light helps de-stress the fish. Who the hell would ever know? ) Tank first has to be faired and coated before all this can happen. Walk through is nearly done. A pull out 12mm panel will slot into the recess created. Tinted wrap-around wind sheild turns up this week. Once I place it into position I will be able to trim the side wings to a matching curve and complete the cabin.post-1597-0-48030700-1338197970_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-57368700-1338197983_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-19883200-1338197997_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-21578500-1338198017_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-68955100-1338198035_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-20568900-1338198052_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-94834900-1338198070_thumb.jpg

Ok heres a couple of pics with screen and forward hatch dry fitted. Building the cabin has been bloody difficult to say the least. It didnt help that I changed my mind on windscreen shape after cabin was formed, only to have to chop back into it with multi-tool and change the curve to suit better (more expensive) screen.

All up though it has come up reallypost-1597-0-21851900-1339136487_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-83599500-1339136529_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-57440500-1339136547_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-81552200-1339136572_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-57470600-1339136596_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-17379300-1339136627_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-12440100-1339136648_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-97525800-1339136671_thumb.jpgpost-1597-0-40298900-1339136697_thumb.jpg good. I have nearly finshed all timber construction. Storage pockets to be formed on cabin side wings, finish anchor well/ bow sprit. Then on to weeks of glassing, fairing and sanding. God - I cant wait.

Hi Lance,

After almost six weeks, we are finally back on air, (after a visit from the "Farmside" man on Thursday) and your boat is looking pretty amazing. Windscreen has worked well. She is beginning to look like something out of Hawaii Five O. Nice work.

Cheers

Hey thankyou very much David. I managed to finish the glassing over the weekend. So cold here in Auckland at the moment I just about had to stand on my west system pump to get resin out of it! Atleast the pot life is quite long befor it kicks. From here its filler coat then onto microballon and resin trowl filling, fairing and sanding.

Dying to see how this thing goes with 115 on back. Its only temporey though, plan to put 150 4 stroke next year. Putting a cabin on has deffinatly added weight, I think all up around 80-100 kgs. The screen and foward hatch are quite heavy, The hatch especially- 10mm thick glass surrounded by alot of alloy = dead weight. Hopefully it wont have to much affect on the boats performance. I know the design is based on being lite but this boat will spend its life getting a real hiding...... Im sure a bit of extra glass in critical areas will pay off.

Tandem axel braked multi roller trailer has been ordered, should be ready 4 to 6 weeks. If all goes to plan painting should be done by then , ready for fit up.
