The owner suggested we use Kiwigrip non-skid finish.  I was game.  This is a great product!  It is easy to apply.  The level of aggressiveness can be adjusted.  We chose a more aggressive pattern.  To calm it down a touch, we may take some 120 grit paper to it, to knock off the peaks.  It is a water-based product.

That’s the funny thing. No, I will not get to sail her.  I live in the foothills of North Carolina.  The owner lives in Dallas, TX.  That’s a long way for me to travel for a sailboat ride.

Shore looks purty!!! Great job. You should sneak in a sail before they come.

Good idea, except there is no mast or sails yet.  That wasn’t part of my job.

David Jones here, owner of this fine boat built with skill and care by Don Sisbe. I couldn't have found a better builder, his skills were matched by his integrity and his imagination in the design and improvisation segments of which there were several. If it didn't turn out perfect he redid it. We didn't always agree on things, but we would video conference and work out our differences. It's hard to find a close working relationship a thousand miles away. So, my dream boat is done and I give many thanks to Don for making the dream come to reality.
