Frank Hagan Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Konrad wrote to say he and his wife are now parents: This is unquestionably the coolest thing a human being can experience. Those that are dads already know this. Those that are not, won't understand. Born Friday morning 5:00 am on the nose. 8 lb 7 oz I'm a happy dood. TexasPhil Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congradulations! Now let the little wife get some sleep! You'll have plenty of opportunity to sleep... in about 18 years or so! Quote
Pat Mellema Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 congratulations Konrad sleep is gone for a long time  Quote
Frank Hagan Posted June 30, 2003 Author Posted June 30, 2003 I was thinking we needed a bigger picture of the baby! C'mon, Konrad, move aside! Quote
Fintan Murphy Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Born on the nose! - that must have hurt  Congratulations Konrad, and now America has it's own Weapon of Mass Distruction - a pint sized Konrad. And you can tell your wife "We need a bigger boat" Quote
Bruce S Kershaw Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 OK, New poll... Just kidding. Congratulations Buddy. Quote
Russ Sylvester Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congrats Konrad! Looks like one very proud daddy in the picture. Couple of questions though. Him or her and what's his or her name? Send 'em to school, buy 'em books and all they want to do..... Quote
Dave R1 Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congratulations Konrad. Now you be careful with that crotch rocket and the 50HP OSS. Quote
P Doug (WA) Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congrads. You are right it is awesome. The only trouble with those little critters is you turn around and they are grown up and gone. Than here you sit, reading a forum everyday thinking about a boat... Quote
Mark Hughes Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congrats Konrad! Looks like you got a Powder Monkey. Now all you need is the cannon! Quote
Robert Cox Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congratulations Konrad. Now the real adventure begins. Bob Quote
Craig Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congratulations Konrad and Wife. You didn't do it all! Quote
Knut Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congratulations to the whole family :!: :!: Before you know it you will have a ship's crew My problem is that my four "children" are not taking orders any more (they are beyond that stage and too far away) and the two grandchildren cannot travel alone, yet Make sure the small one gets to know boating early. Kids never sleep as well as they do in a SAIL-boat with a little bit of waves. Quote
buck Posted June 30, 2003 Posted June 30, 2003 Congratulations Konrad from all the New Zealand crew. Being a dad is one of the best things... and of course every child needs a boat of their own. Quote
Florin {VACATIONER} Posted July 1, 2003 Posted July 1, 2003 Congrats Konrad!!!! And so the saga begins :-) Good luck, and enjoy every moment.... time goes flying too fast to miss anything. Quote
