I'd recommend saving the images in a good quality "viewer" such as IrfanView (irfanview.com), which is free and easy to use. You can resize images, rotate them, etc. and all machines are capable of dealing with it. You can also resize them, so they fit on the screen without a scroll bar being necessary.
