issue with photos, Frank

In my thread of the new boat the photos need to have the screen scroll up and down and from inside the end of the three pictures or the whole photo cannot be seen. Does anyone else have that issue?

They showed up ok on my screen.  I didn't have to scroll or slide anything to see them.  Beautiful work too BTW.

I see this same effect, often with your pics, Mike.  Sometimes it does it, sometimes not.  I have yet to figure out what is causing it.  It has done it with pics of mine in the past too.  Something in the picture coding and the interfacing to the web browsing software maybe?

Hum thanks guys for the imput. I have no other issues on any other site. I use the smallest pixels and Photobucket also resizes automatically for any of the larger ones in the past, or so I have experienced. I jsut can't view the whole boat shot unless its the last picture down, allowing me to scroll over.

Mike, this is what makes me think it is something on your PC or on mine.  Something with the browser and the way it handles the picture encoding.  Something not working right, which later corrects itself via updating?  I am just guessing, but since no one else is having problems with seeing your pics this time, it must be something on your pc.

What resolution are you running your screens in...the picture is 800x600 and your browser takes up some so the min resolution you would need to see the whole picture is 1024x768 but probably 1200 x1024 or near there would be better.

Duhhhhhhh,,,,,,,Ahhhh Steve you have just exceeded my brain's ability to process such technical jargon. :'( Well I guess I better go read the Computer for Dummies book now. I do good just to get the settings on the camera to a size that will not blow my screen and computer up since its so outdated and has been re---whatever you call it twice now. Carry on...... :-[

Oh and the thread shows a basically a box with a scrool bar inside with the photos in the thread format, if that makes any sense.

Its dependent on your screen resolution on your PC.  If you are at 1024 x 768 or higher, the pictures I allow will almost always fit within the screen.  The problem for some of us is that going to that resolution from the "old standard" of 800 x 600 results in icons and text that are pretty small (I just walked my Mother through changing her resolution back to 800 x 600).

PC 101...minimize everything until you get to your desktop...right click and go to Properties in the pop up menu. Click on the settings tab and look at the slider bar. It will tell you what resolution you are running. The higher the numbers the smaller your icons and writing but the more that fits on the screen at once. It will probably say 800x600. If your video card and monitor are capable you can slide it up one more notch to 1024x768. This will cause the icons to get a bit smaller but you will see more of things without the slider bars. You can make the icons larger too but that is a later lesson  .
