Core Sound 17 #229 launched

No 229 was launched this week. She was meticulously built by Bill in my boat building class.

That is a lovely livery, and a lovely boat.

SO, is that a modified/retrofit on the main mast where he has what appears to be a tabernacle on an MK 1?

She was fitted with a main mast tabernacle form the start. I think that you saw her under construction.

Yup #229 is right around Petunia's era. His persistence has sure paid off in a beautiful looking boat !

What I feel is interesting is that there is very little bright work. The gunwales are ipe and finished bright. That leaves only the tiller and the sprits. She is about the nicest CS17 that I have seen.
