Brent Posted September 16, 2003 Posted September 16, 2003 The Fish and Game Warden inspected the boat on Friday. The last of the hardware went on Saturday. We slipped the boat in for a quick sea trial Sunday afternoon just as the sky opened up with a fine rain. Mostly the wind was very light, and we quickly figured out how to make the boat ghost along. Some wind rolled in with the rain, and for a brief few minutes we were charging along very smartly. The boat was very well behaved. In the strong wind the masts bent, just as described in the plans, and the boat sat down and scooted away. [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin] Quote
