Greg Luckett Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I think Frank deserves another pat on the back...hopefully his back is doing better too. It looks like our playground here grew by over 200 new members so far this year. I have no idea how many of the previous memberships have dropped out so far. Most folks never post or maybe not post much, but it is great that we have so many reading the postings, and even greater that we have so many folks that do post. Frank has created a really wonderful thing here for us all. Done rambling now. Thank you Frank! :smilecolros: Quote
Bikermouse Posted October 25, 2009 Posted October 25, 2009 I know I try to never post, just to mess with the numbers... and yes, I agree that Frank is groovy! Quote

Ken_Potts Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Yay Frank! Best site on the whole of the internets. Now that you've gotten the masses onboard with the forums it's time to get that boat in the water. :-D And post some pics of your progress! Quote
JeffM Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 Nowadays I follow and post to several other forums beside this one, but this is definitely the best! Frank has set it up to perfection. (Probably has something to do with all the complicated rules he thought up.) And now all the caring people here make it simply the nicest place on the web for boatbuilders to hang out. Quote
doyle007 Posted October 30, 2009 Posted October 30, 2009 Great site. I'm glad that I found it. I look forward to reading and replying to a lot of posts. Quote
RSdaCat Posted October 31, 2009 Posted October 31, 2009 Shalom All, Some people never post, they are too busy sailing, and working, and doing crazy stuff. Or in my case feel like they have nothing of real value to contribute to the discussion. But that doesn't mean they are not happily learning and gleaning from this wonderful forum. Props! (or swift sails) to those who do post, you are making life better for people you may never meet, or even know about! Blessings, RS Quote

Blessings, RS I do not think there is anything wrong with not posting, or rarely posting, other than I miss getting to know those folks. IMHO, nearly everyone has something of interest to folks here should they desire to post about boats, sailing, shop work, trip reports, etc. Quote
Konrad Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 This place would be better if Bruce posted more. <----- I mean, really. Just look at that dog's butt. Quote
Ken_Potts Posted November 10, 2009 Posted November 10, 2009 What? Dog Butt? All this time I thought that was you! Quote
Greg Luckett Posted November 13, 2009 Author Posted November 13, 2009 You must be related to my ex-wife's mother? No, man. This is me... Quote
Frank Hagan Posted November 13, 2009 Posted November 13, 2009 Reminds me of what my Dad always said to my girls when they showed him their pony tails ... "You know what's under a pony's tail?" They would squeal and say "Grand-daaaaaad!" I always miss him on veteran's day. Anyway, thanks for the props, guys. The forums do see to be chugging along, and we've had very few problems here, which is all a testament to you. Quote
