The more I get to paddle it the more I like it.  Never really thought of this as a fast boat, speed was just was not one of the design goals. But apparently it's no slouch either.  Last night I paddled with "That Girl" that everyone talks about being so fast. She is not a racer but she is a fast recreational paddler.

Last time out I was in a borrowed plastic boat and she kicked my butt. I was struggling to keep up with her and finally gave up.  While I wouldn't have run any races against her for the first time I was actually able to keep up with just a little effort. So I guess this boat is faster than I thought?

Regardless, I LOVE IT! Does everything I wanted it to do. What more can you ask of you own design??

Hey, nothing else in life does everything I want it to, not even my kids!  So a very pretty boat, fast and sleek, that meets all your expectations and more ... life doesn't hand you that very often!

So, when are you going to bring her down to Alabama? The fall is coming and it should cool off down here in another month or two. We still want to do some of the Bartram Trail and would love to have you. That boat looks like it will look right at home with mine.
