Ken_Potts
Was it Herreshoff who said that yellow was the only color for a proper yacht?

Hirilonde
"There are only 2 colors to paint a boat. yellow and black, and only a fool paints his boat black." That's how I remember it! Almost the same as Mr Ford. "You can have the Model T in any color you like as long as it is yellow."
Ken_Potts
Thanks for the correction Dave. That's the quote I was thinking of but I didn't quite get it right. Oh well, as Kermit used to say, "It's not easy being yellow."
BrentK
I keep telling myself to start building my Belhaven! I regularly look at your sailing videos Scott and still think the design is just so clever and would be so easy for me to sail solo. Oh well, one day I will start. Scott Dunsworth
Brent it's a great solo and couple boat. Its not a fast planning boat like the CS and CSMK3 but loaded down with all the comforts and storage for two weeks out along with two batteries that I always carried she would still do 4 to 6 mph. Much faster than that on a broad reach. She will plane in the right conditions and not loaded heavy. Go ahead jump in there and get started.
