Kudzu Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 The only really weak point of the FreeB 12 is maintaining cruising speed. Because of the beam and length it simply takes more work to stay up to speed. That is the weakness of all short boats and why I am not a fan of them. Curlew at 15' will run rings around it and will just add a couple of pounds of weight. Around 13-13.5 feet water line length is going to be the sweet spot for the average paddler. Quote
