Newest crew member

I failed to mention to you all that the newest crew member of the family (grand child #6) arrived shortly after noon on Sunday, 8/10/08 (also my birthday).  Jacob and Mom are now home and doing well.  He was 11 Lbs, 4 Oz, at birth and his Dad, who is estatic, immediately nicknamed him, Bruiser. ;D

As an update to an earlier thread several years ago, I am attaching another pic of the cradle that was built for the second grandchild.  It was assembled using Gorilla glue and no dowels or bisquits, just nice flat edges.  Jacob is resting in it.

Congrats there Greg.  6 huh?  That is a lot of sailing lessions Granddad.  Best wishes to Mom and Pop too they did all the work.  8) 8) ;D ;D ;D

Incidently, this had a bit to do with getting Dragon back into shape....must keep the older grand children occupied.

No fair, I only have two grandchildren.  I'm sending your post to my daughter to tell her to get busy!

She had two 18 months apart, and the youngest is now a year old.  Its about time for a third, I think!  (She evidently has other ideas ...)

I'd say the crib is cool.  And its even cooler to be able to say "that's what grandadads do".  Good work Greg.  My  oldest daughter is now 21.  I might be able to brag sometime in the forseeable future, right?

CONGRATS!! I only have one grandson so far. He turns 4 next week. FUN!!
