I think the reputation of them having middle aged sexual predators after 14 year olds has sullied their general reputation. But I still see their value in a community such as ours. For one, there's too many people here with sharp tools to let anyone get away with anything. And talk of deadeyes, epoxy and sanding never got anyone in trouble (well, except for that time when I took my wife out to dinner ...) I'll look into it. There are a couple of them that "plug in" to the forum software, and those might work. Quote

Frank Hagan Posted February 21, 2003 Posted February 21, 2003 I looked at one this evening, and it looks promising. I'll see if I can get it installed this weekend. It integrates with the user logon here, so you don't have to log on to the chat system separately, and only registered users can use the chat feature. That gives me a bit more control over it in case I'm not around. I added a spell check feature tonight; we'll see how that works. Quote
