I put 330 pounds in the tank and ended up with about 12 pounds plus splatters left. So I guess it weights about 315. This was the last major event other than getting the boat on the trailer that was left. This was really not a bad job at all. Scott Quote

This morning I had the pipe from my tank entering the mold at a 90 degree angle. But I recalled yours draining down the length of the mold, so I changed mine. That was very smart because when the lead cut loose she ran hard and fast. I would have spilled a lot the way I had it set up. So Thanks again for the posted pictures. Scott Quote

When I had my little Penobscot 14 the ohio was my favorite sailing waters. Except for the tow traffic, I was always afraid I would capsize and not have time to get out of the channel. My brotherinlaw is a tow captain and he told me to stay out of the channel. But when your tacking you have to cross the channel. Scott Quote

The river is running hard up here presently, but by June it is usually settled down and ready to allow us on. There is a new dock at River Front Park that would be a good place to tie up and see the sights I use the lakes extensively as well, and posted a few pictures from today's voyage. How far are you from Patoka or Kentucky Lake? Quote
Scott Dunsworth Posted April 24, 2006 Author Posted April 24, 2006 About 110 from Kentucky and 50 to Patoka. Patoka is always a weekday sail, weekends are completely CRAZY up there. WHen you put 200 jetskis, 100 pontoons, 30cigar boats, 100 ski boats and 200 billy Dance bass boats on 9000 acres it AIN'T fun. As long as you get out of there by noon on Friday it can be pretty nice though. Scott Quote
