overdueweekender Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Hello everyone, Like my name says my weekender is over due. Me and a buddy first laid the keel in 1999. The boat progress pretty rapidly at first (guess they all do). We stopped work due to some priority problems (Divorce), mainly my funds needed to go to the lawyer. I have since remarried and feel that it is time to finish construction (about 85% complete). When she(the boat not my wife) hits the water for the first time, it will be well over due. overdueweekender Quote

My dad and I used to stop in Santa Fe for coffee and food when going back and forth to Galveston. I used to date a pretty lady from there too, years ago. Quote

When I laid the keel of my vacationer in Nov of 2001, the plans were for a launch in early summer 2002. It finally hit the water in June 2003. The big thing is to just do something on it whenever you have the time. Eventually it gets done. Welcom aboard. Quote
