We have concluded that we must part with Blue Duck since we are planning a move to the western part of NC. The opportunities to sail near there are limited – we have been spoiled living on the Pamlico River. And keeping, storing, and and maintaining the but not sailing it without a long drive to a lake doesn’t make sense to us. Time to get her to someone who will take her sailing. 

So, we are moving away from sailing but will keep paddling. I have listed the boat in the classifieds and will list it other places too. The build is described on this forum, and I will assemble a photo album. And Blue Duck will be in attendance at the Messabout.

That boat is pretty much everything I want my CS-20 to be someday!  Excellent job, Nick, and someone's going to get a great sailboat!   I also heartily endorse naming your sailboat after waterfowl!

I need to  recognize the photographer who took the great photo above (the first one). It's always challenging to get pictures of your boat under sail and Amos Swogger did an outstanding job a few years ago when we sailed together in the Pamlico River. He shared it and I am using it in multiple places since it is such a great view of a CS20.

Where are you moving to in western NC?  I’m in Tryon.  Granted, the reservoirs aren’t as lovely as Pamlico, but they do work.  Good luck selling her.
