I have launch my boat on Tees River Uk

I am thinking of putting skegs on 2'' high about 6' 6'' long. I have attached a photo of where I am putting the skegs. The other photo shows the rub rail David

Thanks for the info but here in England sometimes we land on gravelly beaches and I was thinking the skegs would protect the hull of the boat.

I am thinking of putting skegs on my Core Sound 17 mark 3. I would appreciate some information.

Hi, I'm building from plans. Any tips for laying out the templates? I lay them out and secure them with clamps and then drill holes through the templates into the plywood then I remove the template and join up the holes. David
