Dave I first epoxied then I painted. It still hurt my knees, next I installed padding like you put down for kids to play on. it comes 2' sq.and is dove tailed around the edge. I snapped it together down the center line and cut it to fit around the edges. Snug fit not glued down and can easealy be removed to dry or repair if need be. Any big box store has it. Mine came from Lowe's. Y'all Come Cap'N Bud.

O'yea You remember now don't you Frank? you put in the extra few inches so you could raise your shrouds up some so your gaff jaws wouldn't hang in them. You remember now don't you ? Kydockfrog you may have some slippage, but I am sticking with over stearing. I have done it more than once even with a tiller, and when you have company aboard you see the rock comeing and a little bit helps a hole lot will do even better. Kydocfrog I am not a good sailer myself therefore I have made most of the misques at least once. My guess is it is a loose nut on the wheel (Capt) you are putting on the brake rather than the turn signal. Try to slip up on her and turn her easy ever so lightly keep your boat speed and she will turn around nicely. If this don't work start the moter power her around and say those magic words something about a sandy beach. Y'all Come Cap'N Bud. :wink:

Adla I have noticed there are no trees on the bank of the lakes in Nevada are all those lakes salt water? If not why not plant a few trees? Do you have no compasion for your poor dogs? DocA I also ofset my drain plug. I drilled my hole 1/2" larger than the outside dem. of the plug, pouted the hole full of appx. then drilled the hole the size of the drain. this way you have no raw wood exposed to water. applied some 5200 to the plug slid it in the hole works great. Anyone west of Georgia might wan't to come down through Alabama to Panama City Florida and go east on 98, it about 50 miles from Panama City. It's down hill all the way from Canada And seams like it gets a little warmer every time your wheels turn over. Y'all Come Cap'N Bud.

Keith: I think Mr. Moon put the Alatoona Messabout together last year. I was there with Pearl, Ed come over and brought me the dory, ED can fill you in on it. I like the camp sites down buy the boat ramp best but all of them are pretty nice on the water side. Y'all Come Cap'N Bud.

Think about it. you buy a heating blankit kill a cast iron pot buy a good heating gun. You still have to buy the pvc and fittings. I think Ed got the cheapest ones from west marina and they are fiberglass, have to be better quality. I would at least check the price. Y'all Come Cap'N Bud.
