  1. Super Job!!! That really looks GREAT! You might be able to quickly fashion a spray diverter for the 200 - just a trianglular piece of cloth with 3 grommets for the forward inboard corner of the opening. Kind of a smaller version of the one like the Windrider Rave has:
  2. Nice choice of paint colors!! You'll get over the dock rash. My teenager has taken care of all of my "fears" for the next little while. I figure I'll give it a good refinish when he's done with it!!! Nice work! Ray
  3. WOW!!! That's a really tough way to get overhead shots of your boat! (and not even the correct side!) So glad everyone is OK. A good lesson for me, at least......
  4. I touches the water when my 95lb son gets out and *MY* fat butt gets in it!!!!
  5. A 9N. My son is becoming quite an accomplished sailor!
  6. I add a little at a time until I am somewhere between mayonnaise and peanutbutter, depending on what I am joining.
  7. Looks like they're in. The 3:54 coordinates match those you have given and speed is 0mph.
  8. That would be: 9 miles per hour = 7.82078618 knots Still unreal!!!
  9. can that be right? According to the results page: http://watertribe.com/DataAccess/Results.aspx CP2, 174 Miles Chokoloskee 1 Days, 9 Hours, 30 Min CP3, 273 Miles Flamingo 1 Days, 20 Hours, 30 Min Checkpoint 2 to checkpoint 3 is 99 miles. Their two check in times are 11 hours apart!!! Holy Cow!!!!

  13. Some quick web searching for "coupler pole" found some options to use with home made oars: http://wesspur.com/Pole-Pruners/pole-pruners.html (lower right) And some buttons that you could probably make a coupler out of two pieces of pipe: http://topkayaker.net/TopKayakerShop/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=174
  14. Thanks, Garry. I got these on ebay (where I get EVERYTHING). They are of a German make with stainless couplers. I don't have immediate access to them right now - sorry. NRS sells some expensive parts here: http://www.nrsweb.com/shop/product.asp?pfid=1309 There are some on ebay quite often, like these short ones that may be able to be extended (or just re-use the couplers) http://cgi.ebay.com/WOOD-BOAT-OARS-52-CHRIS-CRAFT-SAIL-BOAT-BOATS_W0QQitemZ160079596405QQihZ006QQcategoryZ423QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Sorry I can't be of more help! Ray
  15. I just eyeballed my 9N, sorry. http://seaweed.thebilge.com/spindrift
