T-shirt ideas

[Kudzu]

Been talking about it for way to long and need to get some t-shirt made. I have played with lots of ideas. I have looked at them so long I can't see what is good and bad any more. Tell me what you like and don't like.

I am looking at embroidered hats at some point to, but shirts first.

This one needs a good slogan but you get the idea

This one is versatile because I can change colors without pay for new screens each printing.

Idea is to look like a blueprint. Of course it could be done on most an darker colored shirt.

Like the blueprint on navy, and the Team Kudzu on just about anything else. Well done.

I think the first one should be a decal or something than can be stuck on a kayak with Dave's words added and than a space where a person could sign and put the month/year on it. Coarse maybe Jeff would rather some of us (me) didn't put advertisement on our boats letting people know where they came from.The Team Kudzu ones I like the no backgrond one the best on a color than white.

The brown I was try to simulate it on tan shirt. The colors are quite right but I just did it really quickly to get an idea. I like colored shits a lot better than white ones.

I agree and the point I was trying to make. I thought the brown was part of the print. I also like colored T-shirts much better.

I think Dave deserves a free shirt! I took your idea, played around a little last night and here is the results. I am not going to rush out and have them printed just yet but I this may be the design. or rather designs.

I LOVE the Team Kudzu shirts and the blueprint on a dark navy shirt has some good potential too. When I finally get time to build a Cast-Away I'm going to have to have some Team Kudzu shirts to wear while out fishing!

Gstandfield, the "Team Kudzu" are my favorite also, but I think we got out voted.

I wanted for a long time to be able to make labels, like these here, mainly to be able to make decals to put on some of the things I have build, like "Crafted by.... " stuff. What kind of software does a person need to do this?

I don't think it is a matter of software, but hardware. I can print on clear overhead projector film and make slides for that on my regular printer of anything on my computer, but they don't stick to anything. Vinyl lettering and graphics are "printed" if you will by sending the info from computer to a vinyl cutting machine instead of a printer. Custom decals would require a machine that printed on clear sticky film or some kind of sticky film that would work in a regular printer if that even exists. They sell an iron on paper for conventional ink jet printers that allows you to turn any graphics that you can print into an iron on transfer. The results however are not nearly as good or durable as a good silk screen. I am guessing that it would cost a few bucks to be able to set yourself up to make decals.

I can print decals on my HP Photosmart printer just put in decal paper. I haven't figured out what software to use to creat a design.

A lot depends on what you want to do. But your looking at a drawing program such as a photo editor such as Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, and any of the dozens of others out there.
