Battery operated Nav lights

Paul Stewart had some great nav lights for his modified CS 20.  Mine are coroded beyond function, so I am looking for replacements for the NC WaterTribe race.  LEDs would be a plus.  Suggestions?

White on the stern.  Red/Green on the bow.  They work well.  Still, I'd be interested to hearing other ideas.

I am using the same lights. When I bought mine, they were offered with bulbs and LED's. I bought the LED's and they said that they would run for 200 hours on 4 AA batteries. I don't believe that they are visible for 2 miles, probably more like 1 mile. I got them to be legal, I use a big mag light to scare away powerboats.

I have the same lights, LED version. Bright enough to be passable/legal when it's really dark at night, but in the dusk/dawn hours they're probably a bit underpowered. We sail at dark so rarely that these were a superb option for us--just enough to ensure compliance, but not ideal if you do a lot of evening boating. I agree with Graham's sentiment of keeping a brighter maglight on hand, or else installing one of the more permanent LED nav lights that can be considerably brighter.

I'm using those too.  I like that they last so long and are removable.  I rarely need them but they're nice to have.

The few times I've left an anchor light on there were plenty of boats that were unlit.

Thanks for the quick reply.  Sent the order off to Chuck a few minutes ago.  Back to work on the dodger for the CS 20 so Michael and I won't get as wet as we did in the Everglades Challenge.  I covet that cabin, Paul.
