Greg Luckett Posted October 12, 2006 Author Posted October 12, 2006 Kodi was born about 3:30 this morning and is a beautiful baby girl weighing in at 9-1/2 Lbs. Mom, child, and Dad all seem to be doing well. We are all tired but happy It is snowing here this morning and my boat is still sitting in her slip. Maybe I will go sailing in the snow...that should be interesting. Quote

I gave up on sailing as the weather turned into a gale and the waves must be pushing 7 feet and choppy, and that is what is rolling up the river from the lake. The lake looks like maybe 15 footers and the surface is white foamy wind blown freezing water. The snow pellets were the size of peas and coming down in all direction. I guess I will give up hope for an Indian Summer and bring my boat out of the water this week end. Sigh.....another boating season gone. Quote
