Scott Dunsworth Posted July 13, 2005 Posted July 13, 2005 How many of you use the epoxyed rope on the leading edge of the rudder? I will defiantly use it on the centerboard. As much as a rudder gets banged around I thought it would be wise to rope and glass it also. Charlie did you use this on Travis's boat? Scott Quote

Guest Posted July 14, 2005 Posted July 14, 2005 On my one off boat, I used a liine, but did it more for creating a finer edge for glass, enlaying the line into a bed of thickened epoxy, and working it to an edge while wet. I tacked it with small nails to keep it tight in the process. Make sure you allow for added width if you use this method if it fits some slot or pivot points. Quote
