Hi Everyone

Well it looks like the 4th is the big day. We will finally see if she floats. Here are a couple of pictures. Hopefully I'll have some good shots of maiden voyage.

Tom let me know when yours is finished so we can plan a day of sailing.Its been two years .August of 03 since I started the creation of the D'Louise. I'm almost sad its over its been a blast. I enjoyed the pictures you have on your web site. your coming right along as well.

Very nice! Clean and Crisp with the blue and white. I like the round portlights. Do they open? Nice main hatch doors. Long time coming, I'll bet you are anxious to get it wet and give it a good honest launching.

I notice the rings on the main. You may want to drill a little hole into the leading edge of each ring and tie a line thru each of them to establish the spacing so that they don't get hung up when you raise the main. Not a big thing but it can help.

Wish I could be there to see you launch and take your first sail. Can't though, going to see the tall ship festival in Tacoma. So take lots of photos.

Very nice. Boy, sure is a lot BIGGER than my weekender :shock: I didn't realise how much bigger a vacationer was until I saw the pictures of the turnover...Wow!!! It only took my son and I to turn mine. Great Job!!!!
