    Hi All

    I agree, the weekender is great for 2 adults and a couple of kids but four adults are going to be really crowded. best of luck on your project and decision!!

  3. Cool looking little boat Frank, hey blacksmith, does the design your building look anything like that? defiantly have to post some pictures of both boats. Ok gang, for those of you in the know...Is there a link so we scope out what blacksmith is building? Is the pram going to be multifuctional? sail, row and power?

  5. Perfect day for sailing!!! I found that the sails (boom) sits low. Still worked nice. Just need to... :oops: :roll: ....re-cut the length of the sails. I'm about 6 inches too long... :cry: 8) 8) 8) 8)

    First step.

    thanks capt jake, but I think :? that would be too much hps. for the boat. Been busy getting the Weekender ready for the season. Winter is all of a sudden getting short!!!!! :shock: Even with the snow the last couple of days!!!
  12. ok...if i remember right, this thread is about wood? hatches made out of a particular type of wood were made by PAR...it's been so long....what type of wood again? :twisted: :twisted: :wink:
  13. so... I cut down my old 2X4 boom to a more managable size. Here is the way I looked when I started. I wasn't sure how it was all going to come apart. some parts held well, others didn't the other side. How not to use a table saw. :oops: after the cut. used a camfer and router to get some type of shape. :wink: just a small aside...I always use quality equipment!!! time to play with the belt sander!!! 8) after sanding. sliding gooseneck attached. hard to see but the compleated boom 8) btw, hey Oyster, I got a camera for x-mas!!!! :twisted:
