Mike a solarvent is a sun powered vent that exaust moist air from your boat while it is not in use to hold down mildew. It is a small electric motor powered by a solarcell all built into a compact unit that mounts on the top deck.

I have found a 9" Solarvent by "Intersolar" for sale for $45.00, is this a good product and company??

I would like to get $400 but will consider all offers. The boat would include oars and seat. The boat weighs about 50 pounds.

John I am doing better, just getting over a total knee replacement. I am still too fat and stiff to get in and out of the Blackberry safely. If you know of someone that might want to buy it let me know.

Mistermoon the dory skiff you are sitting in looks familiar

I used the 1/4" lauan under lament doubled with staggered but joints on my PC. Just make sure it is rated as water resistant. The glue will most likely be "black" and not brown in color. What ever you do DO NOT use pine plywood on your boat as it will swell and delaminate.

I am back I did so good they kicked me out early, now all I have to do is get through out patient rehab and shake this nausea.

I will be off line for several weeks starting at 6 PM to night. I will be having a new knee installed so I can walk again. My doctor is keeping me in inhouse rehab untill I am able to walk with out help. I did have to promise to corporate and not start trouble like last time.
