BRS 15 - How Much Wood?

Looking at the suggested layout for the main pieces of a BRS15 made of plywood, there're  6 sheets of 3/8" and 2 sheets of 1/4" plywood. As for wood, hard to say exactly, but seems to be not a big deal.
