Yes Chick, I did use the crosslink.  I used it in all coats, not just the last or last 2 which some consider an option.  The hot recoat window with the crosslink is 24 hours.  I always tried to get at least 2 coats on per day to assure I maintained a chemical bond.  It sometimes meant getting up early to do a coat before work, but I hate sanding even more than getting up early.  The paint itself, after the crosslink is added, in a covered container has a pot life of at least a week. (I simply never tried longer).  The primer will kick off in 6 hours or less regardless of how it is stored if mixed.  So I was careful to not mix any more than I was going to use.

 

IsZataRock, I am a fan of semi-gloss too, and for the same reasons.  For me the white is there to provide a contrast for and set off the bright work and be forgiving.
