Meet my new paddling partner

Just met him this morning but he/she looked a lot more comfortable than I was. I think he knew it was my first time in the Gulf Of Mexico and he and his buddies were part of the welcome wagon. :-)

I have had them swimming in the bow wave while sailing a few times.  It never gets old.  Kayaking you have a more intimate view.

They are certainly smart enough to have been thinking about you, maybe even talking.

This was taken near Gulf shores, AL. I was paddling out near Ft. Morgan.

That is awesome. There is a couple pods that hunt behind the house. They are always a joy to watch.

I went over to St. Andrews  bay because the surf was to big for me to launch the next day. I got into a pod feeding in the shallows. That was interesting to watch and unlike the ones in the Gulf, they  didn't care a think about me.
