Many of the kayaks we've been in don't fit our size 14's. Secondly, what is the "window size" for basement boat removal. If this info is included in the plans, I apologize and will wait. Quote

llbrand Posted March 12, 2014 Author Posted March 12, 2014 You're probably right, but like LeRoy Gibbs of NCIS, this is not my first boat-in-a-basement. It is, however, a different basement. Some other boat design firms do provide the window/door size with their plans on small craft. I have only had issues when I modified the plans. Heh. Looks like I wing it. Quote

No body plans that far ahead And if you do plan, make the boat 1" wider then the widest part of the window, jk! when I built my cedar strip canoe in the basement, i thought cool I can shoot right up the stairs that climbed into the garage and straight out the side door, what I failed to figure in was just how close my garage was to the neighbors garage,,,,got it out, but it just barely made it Quote
