Thanks a whole lot... lol LOL! When I started out the translucent finish fascinated me. I still like it but I am drawn more to colors now. I have a seriously cool idea for my next one. But not sure if I have the patients to do it. But I am not giving away my idea just yet either. :-) Quote

Your idea of a camouflaged paint jobs sounds great. I really like the look of the contrasting top and bottom colours and, like on your boat, the contrasting coaming and deck cords. Quote
Deltabravo Posted May 11, 2014 Author Posted May 11, 2014 Water has warmed up enough for me to get out and paddle the new boat, since I'm new to kayak paddling I wasn't sure about the stability of the shad. Happy to say it was a non issue and loved every minute of it. It's a very easy boat to get the feel of. Should be a fun summer with this new toy. Unfortunately I forgot to bring a camera both days so no pics of her in action, maybe next week. Was a fun build of a great design and now a great boat, thanks Jeff. Quote
