I notice someone else has put up "Tadpole" - must be a good name 'cos I thought of it too! How about "Mini-me" or "Stiltskin" - implies small size through connection with the fairy tale Rumpelstiltskin plus the stilt is a wading bird and the kayak is a skin boat. Quote

Kudzu Posted September 22, 2012 Author Posted September 22, 2012 Every time I see a contest and they say it was a hard choice I always say to myself 'yea right'. Now I understand. There were several good names submitted and I saved several of them. If I use them for a future boat I will send that person a T-shirt. There were two names that really stood out to me for this boat, Coy Starne's 'Rug Rat Racer" and Phil Walton's "Tadpole". Both of these said kids boat and are easy for kids to remember. Choosing between the two was not easy, I went back and forth, but I did make a choice. 'TADPOLE' So Phil gets the shirt and I want to thank everyone for their suggestions. Quote
