SCOTT BUMPUS Posted February 3, 2012 Author Posted February 3, 2012 Thanks for the comments. It is 8 oz polyester skin. I adden the stain to the zar before applying. Thinned the first coat then 2 more coats full strength. The thinning probably was not needed but it did soak in the fabric good. 27lb rigged and ready for the water. I am 245lb and it floated me with plenty of freeboard. Quote

Kudzu Posted February 3, 2012 Posted February 3, 2012 Typically nylon and water based don't mix. I was looking for oil bases ZAR recently on the web and didn;t find it. I am wondering if they have discontinued it? I don't use it often but that would be a great loss! Quote
