I had a few folks ask for some more info so I put togather a page (rather wordy) that might explain a few things. It is located here: http://users.adelphia.net/~graphics360/skylight_project_notes.htm Jake: I can't take the torch yet, I have way too much more work to get going on, heck I've just finally started, but thanks anyway! There are some pretty good projects going on out there right now. Chris Gerkins boat is coming along nicely and Kevin Green just did a real nice wheel. I definitly will be in touch though...when the BIG sanding starts this summer... Barry: I just like to rib Norm. I must admit he is my friend I love to hate. I did think borrowing the music too, added a nice touch :-) Capt. Red: see link above, email me with any questions I can help with! Mark: I built the smaller regular hatch a few months ago. It came out nice, had a nice tongue and groove thing going. But, the more I looked at it the more I knew I had to Jazz things up a bit. If you haven't started on anything yet why not try a skylight. I'd be thrilled to see a nice version in good wood. It's really not that hard to pull off and i think the look is kinda cool. Cheers, Bill Quote
