Work inside Spindrift on land

Do you think it would be safe to work inside the spindrift if it is on land?

It looks like some of the interior sanding etc. would be easier to see and work If I could get in the boat.

Seems a lot more stress than if in the water.

Hmmm, 6mm plywood not laying flat on a smooth surface with a full grown adult kneeling on spots while maneuvering into position to work.  As tempting as it was to get inside I was afraid to try.  I won't allow anyone in on the beach now either.

I have done just this, and I am at 270LBS.  The trick is to place the boat down on the ground on top of card board or old carpet, then only step on the places which are backed by the floor/ground.  I do not expect to need to do this with my Spindrift 12 and only did it before as a convenience on the other small boats that I built.  Now that Ben is old enough yet small enough, he will be drafted should the need arise.
