Scroll to the bottom of the B and B Yachts Forum page and you will see an explanation. In the case of the animated symbol it means that the thread is popular.

also Ray, thanks for bumping those posts up to the top. Not being an experienced poster I thought all those posts just appeared at the time and I though wow and posted some replies. Then I looked at the dates, then I felt like an idiot.

You can also click on that little piece of paper to go to the last post that you read ... so you don't have to page through several pages of posts you have already read.

Now he tells us. I knew what it meant, but not what it did! :oops:
