Here it goes- I have cut out the stem and stem tip as per "diagram c" of page 3 in the plan.then I go on to do the Stem tip and the 2 piece doesn't match??? :? . Frank Hagan Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 Hi Denis, The stem tip is confusing. I hope I can explain it correctly (and that I remember it correctly too!) In the drawing below, I have rotated the lower drawing 45 degrees to the left, and placed it up against the edge it will be glued to when completed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this (I'm at work still!), but I think this is how it fits together. [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin] Quote

Johannah Posted February 5, 2003 Posted February 5, 2003 Ray, don't wait for Jake. I got here first and I think it's pretty funny, but brave man, brave! Funniest bit is when you apologize for your frenchwoman instead of your French. But you won't catch me trying that in public, at least in print. Last time I was in France, about 6 years ago, the only people I could talk to without setting them off into gails of laughter were a couple of Portuegese guys who had lived in France for years but thought I sounded fine. French friends tried but kept going off into whoops. At least I provide comic relief, huh, but out loud only. So good luck to the new builder and encouragement in many languages. 8) Quote
