Brent Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 Every year the Ohio rises in the spring and then settles down. Here a log about 15 feet long was deposited on the ledge, and will wait there until the high "tide" next spring. Quote
Brent Posted July 6, 2005 Author Posted July 6, 2005 After exploring all the wild southern Indiana coastline had to offer, sampling the local food and beverage, and making aquaintances amoung the local inhabitants it was time to turn our bow to the south, crossing the expansive waters of the Ohio, and make for home port. Kidd Posted July 6, 2005 Posted July 6, 2005 The power of high river water is an awsome thing. I once floated off a sweetgum tree that would have taken two men to reach around when the Blackwarrior river came up. Those pictures take me back to when I lived by the river. Quote
