Hopefully I'll have some good shots of maiden voyage. Tom let me know when yours is finished so we can plan a day of sailing.Its been two years .August of 03 since I started the creation of the D'Louise. I'm almost sad its over its been a blast. Barry Pyeatt Posted July 1, 2005 Posted July 1, 2005 Very nice! Clean and Crisp with the blue and white. I like the round portlights. Do they open? Nice main hatch doors. Long time coming, I'll bet you are anxious to get it wet and give it a good honest launching. I notice the rings on the main. You may want to drill a little hole into the leading edge of each ring and tie a line thru each of them to establish the spacing so that they don't get hung up when you raise the main. Not a big thing but it can help. Wish I could be there to see you launch and take your first sail. Can't though, going to see the tall ship festival in Tacoma. So take lots of photos. Quote
