adla Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 I wish I had more of one. Since Mini-Me left I haven't done anything at all. It is between 108 and "HOT AS HELL" here. So, my motivation is pretty low. I plan on getting up early saturday and turning the air on in the shop...making the boom, finishing the gaff and cont. wheel construction. I signed up for a bunch of school and it is officially half over...2.5 weeks to go. Sorry it isn't more exciting. Maybe, Dave...you can tell me the measurement for your mast (lower part) below the tabernacle. I have the 4x4 to put that in too this weekend. The good news is that my dad volunteers at a church that was re-modeling and they were throwing away about 9 pieces of 6" baseboard (thick stuff looks laminated) and casing and a couple of solid wood doors and all of it was mahogany (not the big door)....He rescued it from the trash and brought it to me. *score* Adla Quote

Guest Posted July 28, 2004 Posted July 28, 2004 TEll me about it. My 23 year old left yesterday. He came to visit for four days, from his new duty station in northern Florida. Yes, stay cool. Summer has been pretty nice here, with few days over 95. Most of our weather, this year, has been averaging around 90, which is about five to eight degrees cooler than normal. I hope hurrican season will be as calm as the summer weather. Quote

My trailboards are going to have the dragon on it too...I blended two drawings and will share....lemme see if I know how to upload a pic still tra la la.... Charlie Jones Posted July 29, 2004 Posted July 29, 2004 KEWL!!! My wife did a copywrited design that we use as our owners pennant and as our personal sail logo. We have it on the mainsail of our 21 footer. It's going to be on the foresail of our Sharpie and also on the main of our Meridian when that gets finished. That's a main sail from a US 21 that we cut four feet off the lower end of so it would fit our boat. [attachment over 4 years old deleted by admin] Quote
