Anyone built one of the Instant Boats?

I built one of Payson's boats from "Build The New Instant Boats". It is a slightly modified Nymph. It was a learning experience for me and the 2nd boat I have built since the 60s. There were still mistakes made, but I did much better than the boat before that.

Anyone else built a Payson boat?

No one is biting on this bait. I am not sure why not.

Perhaps you could explain that this is not way off topic for this forum? I think many believe it is just for the Stevenson's designs.

Course, it could be that no one here has done a Bolger design.

Here are a few tried and true steps to get a Dad back on track. (These are proven methods used by Alexander)

1 Steady pestering.

2 Reasoning; Something like: "You know if we don't hurry up I'm never going to find any pirate's treasure!"

3 Questioning; "Are we ever going to work on Dragon?"

4 Take action; "Dad! Me and Ben are going out to paint Dragon."

5 Offer to take him for a ride when it's done.

6 Make it a school science fair project.

7 Get Mom to help get Dad going. She's an expert.

All boats are welcome here! We do have a preponderance of Stevenson Projects boats because that's what most of us have built, but I've always wondered about the other designs people are building. And I've always been surprised that there aren't more Bolger discussions, since his plans are built so much (or, maybe they aren't!) I've got three or four boat plans waiting in the wings, so to speak. I'll never actually BUILD them, but I do have them there taunting me!
