How is the new web site going. I am getting an old home page that is preBelhaven

I hope that you and everyone can bear with us, we are working on the web site but it is not easy. We live in a small rural county and the only way to get high speed internet was to start a cooperative and Pinelink is the result. It is run mainly by volunteers on a shoe string, a high school wiz kid wrote the code for the service which is working very well.

The Belhaven page went into cyberspace during the changeover. I thought I had backed it up but it is the only page that I did not. I will rewrite it as soon as I can. I use Front Page for building my web site and the code does not work with Front Page. The Kid says that as soon as he can he will fix it, then I can fix all of the other little glitches.

Graham, you can retrieve the page from the Internet Wayback Machine at http://web.archive.org/web/20030602210053/www.bandbyachtdesigns.com/bel.htm

That copy is from June of 2003, so any changes you made in the interim are lost. But at least you would have most of it available.

Thanks Frank, that has saved me a lot of work. I did not know that such a thing exists.

It is pretty amazing that they can archive all that info. They don't archive the pictures, so if they don't exist on your site, or you have "hot linking" disabled to save on bandwidth, the pictures don't show up.
