Guest Posted August 22, 2004 Posted August 22, 2004 I am willing to award both of your guys gold medals. Its not that I am saying that trying harder than the other guys is not good. BUt I give all of you a lot of credit for not just sitting around in front of a computer or video game all summer. Lets hear it for the real honest to goodness KIDS doing what kids should be doing, and thats striving to be better, and creative at the same time. RAH!RAH!RAH! Few at your age have experienced anything close to your writings on this thread. For it, later on in life you will remember this and in turn tell your own kids about it, hopefully showing them the pictures and vessel of your own, while helping them do the same. The other two were busy running around with their uncles, Sam and Ben, and I was unable to corral all four of them at once. This house has been like having a pack of wild Indians this weekend. This year it has been cold and rainy most of the summer and we have had very few weekends so far to do any boating. September and October are usually good boating times here. How does hunting season affect your ability to boat? Does it mean you cannot go boating with Swimmer any more this year? I expect your season to be short, but WOW. Maybe you can come visit here and we can do a joint expedition on the Paw Paw River or something. I agree about your point of changing the rules in the middle of a checker game (especially since that is a well defined game), but it is you, Alexander, that has been making rule changes and/or additions. So what is your point? Are you angry at yourself now? Neither Sam nor Ben have proposed any rules since early June...I think? They have gone to bed or I would ask them now. Thanks for offering to share the picture of Swimmer's sails. I am very curious as to what a "round" sail looks like. Quote
