Unbelievably good #4 hand plane for $28

I don't know who is losing money selling this but we just bought one for our friend who was looking for a plane and asked for help. Found this one on amazon and the price was too incredible not to give it a try. I just opened it and it's unbelievably good. If I didn't have a #4 smoothing plane this one would be an instant buy. Thought I'd share with the group. A plane is only as good as it is sharp but this one came correctly assembled and made a smooth chip right off the bat. The angle is such that taking off a tiny bit of hardwood at a time is really not possible.  Or so says this old feller that owns a well seasoned on similar to it, which collects dust.

I'll try it on some white oak. Sometimes the chip breakers aren't stiff enough. I've got a Bailey with a weak chip breaker that clogs and likes to cause trouble but this one I thought looked decent.
