Missed meetings

I am very sorry that I was unable to meet with Stuart and all the folks from Grand Rapids during my recent trip to Michigan. The situation with the old folks took a turn for the worse and there was just no time left for visiting. I regret not being able to let you know sooner.

Tall Ships next month again in Muskegon I think. Photos would be nice if anyone gets to go.....

I am planing to go see the tall ships. I will be taking Sanddragon out to see them. when they were here 2 years ago we followed them around from the east side of the state. We were camping on land and made about the same speed that they did and they were making. It was nice to see them on the lakes as we went along.

That sounds like fun Pat. I did get away for an hour to tour the Silversides while up there but that was it. Too many relatives too many needs only one of me!!! The wife is still exhausted.

Glad to hear that you made your trip there and back safely. Hope all's well with the family. I'm sorry you missed us as well, but no harm done. My boat's not as done as I was hoping anyway, so perhaps your next run up this way we can try again.

Anyway, I'll try to get to the tall ships, but I've been kinda busy lately and might miss it. I certainly won't get the boat's eye view that Pat's hoping for, so his photos are definitely welcome.

Hay Crag, sorry you didn't get to see all the sites around Muskegon. Pat and I were on his boat a week ago. The weekender sailed great once we got some wind. I keep my ketch there and hope that next time you come you will look me up. I have pictures from the last time the tall ships were in Muskegon. If you would like to see them I can post them. Like Pat I will be out there watching the tall ships sail out of port. I will get as many pictures as I can. Hope your folks are doing better.
