Cabin fever? I hear you loud and clear! It has been raining, snowing, blowing here for longer than I car to remember (about 2 weeks straight), with a prediction of at least another week! All of the passes are closed again, more this year than in the past 10 put together. Oyster, thanks for the pictures, at lest we still know there is sun someplace in the world.

It has been in the teens and 20's here! Very unusual. Woke up today to 2" of snow. Yesterday it was ice everywhere. Okay, I am ready for the rain again. Nice work Mike!

My battery that I had forward finally gave up last fall. A large Gp 31. I do not plan on replacing it, so I have to cast a large weight to fit in the battery box, to replace the missing weight.

Well, I never meant to mislead anybody into thinking I am perfect. There is only one person who thinks I am. I don't think I was too smart in buying another tractor either. At least I was able to transfer one bit of knowledge from wooden boats to the tractor. Don't tell SWMBO how much you have invested!

Good to be back, at least for a bit. I have a laundry list of 'to-dos' before and during spring. Oyster wants to keep all of the sunshine for himself. ;D You might be able to get him to talk about the boat though. He did quite the post with pictures some time ago. Very informative. There are several forums dedicated to Cub Cadet and other small tractors. In my case, I really only needed some thing small like this, but the bigger 'real' tractors aren't that much more expensive in reality. 4x4 is a real nice plus, if you plan on using it a lot. I had a Yanmar 1510d prior to this. It was very nice, but more tractor than I needed. That one, complete with roto-tiller and FEL was only $5500. I am into this one about $2500 already.

Would love to, but the remodeling here is going to keep us here (meaning no travel) for a while. It is a cornbinder, but there are way more of them available on the East coast than he West. Relatively inexpensive over there also.

I have been busy with house remodeling (again), landscaping and refurbishing a small tractor. Work has been extremely busy for me, so I enjoy some sort of project to take me away for a bit.
