  1. $9000, so it has a solid gold centerboard?
  2. What's wrong with a bucket and a sponge? No leak problems, no moving parts
  3. I lofted and built a L. Francis Herreshoff 8' tender for Nereia in our apt. I even glassed it in the spare bedroom, a great little dingy, but somewhat heavy, rowed like a dream
  4. Since it's a nesting design why not just take it apart and stick it in the back of the van?
  5. Good luck in the future, but that domain name is not saleable, retire it with your good reptutation
  6. Just try it yourself in like 6' water and make your own plan, should not be a big deal, if you capsize, the wind is up so make sure you face the boat into the wind, or maybe get or make a small drift anchor
  7. I did 4800 lbs of wheel weights in the build of my Bristol Channel Cutter, I could have bought the keel fish for much less ( I think at the time $1200), but in the time it took me to pay off the hull and deck we were in the 1979 run up of metals, gold hit $900, lead of course followed. I poured mine directly into shallow molds that would fit in the keel, I used something like waterglass to cover the molds so little burning.
  8. Why not call B&B they are very helpfull
  9. For the centerboard, I would just laminate plywood in the for aft direction then, powerplane using the glue seams as a fairing guide, and then glass
  10. Thanks, that is a nice build and Im sure ill fall back on it when I need assistance, how hard is it to launch and recover from your boat and connect?
  11. Ijust ordered plans for the 11n so I'm looking at posts that have built this design, I can't wait for my plans, thanks gregg
