If not you could look at making a mount that could attach to a frame holding the transducer against the skin.

With the cedar coaming I think it would look great white or varnished. She looks great.

It would take some doing thats for sure. imagane you would need to make up a foredeck bridge either over or under the skin for the mast and then reenforcements on the gunnels for the stays. would add a some weight to the boat for sure but would be interesting. A lot of the water tribe folks use sails on their kayaks for down wind runs

Woodman. while i live close to the ocean most of the time i would be paddeling the Neusse river by Havelock, NC. the water can be dead calm one minute and have 4 foot white caps the next if a Tstort pops up. a boat like the above looks like it would do well enough to get me to shore in those conditions.
