Thanks guys, good counsel. I'll skin her up over the Christmas week and enjoy her as a kayak. That's why I built her. Boy but is it tempting! Heck, I'm in northwest Georgia. I don't even think Lake Allatoona gets much of a breeze!

Ok - I've been having LOTS of fun building my Curlew. It is positively zen like to work on the boat in the garage in the evening. But I can't bear skinning it just yet. What I keep thinking is this, what if take a day and add the structure to put a small sail and on the boat. I'd have to add a small daggerboard or retractable keel (I like Jeff's concept from a while ago). But it would be fun to have the ability to sail this sweetie. Anyone done this or considered it?
