Any Core Sounds in Newport/ Narragansett area?

I'm heading to Newport area tomorrow for a couple days and wondering if any CS17 in water where I could take a look at rigging etc. I don't want to tie anyone up or interfere but would like to see the   Hardware placement  and detail live and in person if possible. Hope to be finishing my boat in next couple months.

Look on the board for Phil Gartland's boat.  he is in Bristol, RI.  Carbon spars.  He does post to this board occasionally and may see your post.  

 

Unfortunatly, my boat is far from ready, as I just finished applying the glass to the hull.  I am 40 miles north of Narragansett Bay. There is another boat in Hopkinton, MA, but the owner does not leave any contact information out on the web.  I tried to contact him, to no avail.

my boat is in Pine Island, Florida at the moment. There is one at the Ida Lewis Yacht Club in Newport...I'm not sure if it's a 15 or 17 although I think it's the latter. You can walk out on the dock towards the club and you will see it tied up to one of the floating docks on the east side of the main pier.  I don't know who owns it but you could inquire at the dock office.  I could show you our boat the next time I'm down in Florida which will be sometime this fall.  Enjoy Newport and Narragansett...best time of year to be in the Northeast!

Saw this Core Sound in Newport RI. She is a beauty. My guess is it is a modified CS17.

That looks pretty stock to me.

Th reason I said I thought it was modified was the front seat area- (everything in front of the back of the thwart) seemed to appear permanently attached such as a bed and that one could not seat 4 adults. I didn't get in the boat and move things around but there were pad like mattresses laid out.
